The Space
No-one arrives at the farm and is not stunned by the views and atmosphere of the cottage and barn set amidst the surrounding countryside.
It truly is a magical place with all the comforts of a family home, decorated and cared for by us as our own holiday home-so we haven’t compromised on the quality or facilities of something we share with our family when they occasionally wish to escape the hustle and bustle of daily life.
From the minute you open the doors, the properties have the uncanny ability to just wash away the week. Deep baths, beautiful fires, quality beds and fresh cotton sheets just makes for such a comfortable welcome break. Not to mention a good bottle of red or two and some close friends to share it with. For those who want to continue to binge their favourite shows or share their views on socials, we have high-speed internet, complimentary netflix accounts, and each property has their own TV, so there is no fighting over the remote!
For group viewing however, we suggest using our 8-foot projector, located in the outdoor area, perfect for watching movies next to the fire after a day of exploring your surroundings. In this area you will also find some lawn games such as a cricket set and lawn bowls. You will find the open plan kitchens in both properties stocked with local organic coffee, a large selection of T2 & Twinings tea, and some pantry basics.
Accommodation
Both The Barn, and The Cottage, sleep 4 guests in 1 Twin Room, and 1 Queen Room. There is no need to bring your own linen as you will find each bed made with high-quality cotton sheets, and the comfiest of pillows.
Each property has their own luxury bathroom (no out-houses here!)Both bathrooms are stocked with locally produced Saya shampoo, conditioner and body wash, Who Gives a Crap toilet paper, hairdryers and straighteners as well as a few supplies in case you’ve forgotten your toothpaste etc. In The Cottage you will find an amazingly deep bath, with a separate walk-in rainfall shower.
The Barn features a walk in shower, double vanity, and a claw-foot outdoor bath, off the master bedroom (we said no out-houses, but who doesn’t like to bath whilst enjoying country air!).
